Vecht terug tegen de symptomen van Parkinson

Boksen is misschien niet de eerste sport waar je aan denkt bij de ziekte van Parkinson. Toch blijkt uit onderzoek dat het juist een heel geschikte manier van bewegen kan zijn. Parkinson boksen helpt om je balans, coördinatie, spierkracht en motoriek te verbeten. Daarnaast draagt het bij aan een betere conditie én meer zelfvertrouwen. 

Tijdens de training werkt u aan gerichte boksbewegingen in combinatie met functionele oefeningen. Het gaat hierbij niet om vechten of sparren, er is géén fysiek contact. De focus ligt op veilig, ritmisch en krachtig bewegen, aangepast aan jouw niveau en mogelijkheden. Dat maakt de training laagdrempelig en prettig voor iedereen. 

De les duurt 1 uur en vindt plaats in een groep met anderen die ook Parkinson hebben. Er is altijd begeleiding van een gespecialiseerde instructeur.
